Lake Oswego Elder Law is dedicated to helping people of all ages to create safe and secure plans for the future. Our services include drafting powers of attorney and wills, creating and administering revocable living trusts, petitioning the court for guardianship and conservatorship, and initiating probate proceedings. We have expertise in working with seniors diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease or suffering from other types of dementia due to illnesses such as Parkinson’s Disease or strokes. We are sensitive to the needs of both the senior and the family when making decisions for or with someone who has diminished capacity.
If a will, trust or guardianship/conservatorship petition is in dispute, we are ready to go to court and fight for the safety and rights of the elder and/or their family and beneficiaries. We always keep the emotional and financial cost of litigation in mind, however, and strive to negotiate or mediate resolutions whenever possible.
